If i'm using Asus A7N8X with AMD XP 2400+ and using 256Mb Geil PC3200, can i increased the fsb to 333 and 400?

That's a pretty steep overclock. The 2400 runs at 266x7.5, where you want to take it up to 333.7.5 which is like 2.5ghz or so which is alot higher than the athlon xp 2800 which is only 2.25. I don't think the core will be able to handle it.

I think you can run the CPU at a different speed than the FSB.

Some motherboards allow the memory to run at a different bus speed but that is pretty useless since the CPU can only utilize 2.1gb/sec where the memory has the capacity for 2.7gb/sec.

I think that is why he bought the 3200 ddr memory, he wants to try to operate his 2.0ghz cpu at 3.0ghz (7.5x400fsb) that way it will utilize the PC3200 DDR memory.

I doubt the 2400 and your heatsink can handle that kind of jump by adjusting the FSB alone. You'll need some serious cooling to get that. If its unlocked, you might lower the multiplier and go to 400 FSB, but you have to explore your own CPU. Every one is different.

Have you considered liquid cooling? it will keep you busy for a while and it will sure keep your CPU cool.
