I'm using AMD Athlon XP 2000+ with Gigabyte GA7VTXE Via KT266A motherboard , 512 MB of PC 2100 DDRAM , 64 MB GeForce 2 MX 400 . How to overclock it and how far can I go without damaging the system ? Should I buy aditional cooling ?

1) Go into BIOS
2) Increase FSB
3) Increase core voltage and memory voltage if required.
4) Buy the Alpha 8942 heatsink and a nice Panaflo fan if you need it.

alpha heat sinks are nothing compared to the slk-900, get some artic silver 3, a slk-900, and a 92mm tornado for the cpu, oh and chage the multiplier and fsb settings.

chage the multiplier

Always depending on whether or not the chip is actually unlocked in the first place

all the mps are unlocked and the new xps are unlocked, you can use an mp instead of an xp
