Would be even better if half the keg was still functional. Now that would be the world's most useful computer.

That would probably take care of it running hot as well... beer cooling!

Makes me proud to say: "I AM CANADIAN!"

btw: cooling is not a problem when you store it in the fridge... 8)

Or, if living in Canada, anywhere outside? :)

I'd be afraid of a conflict of interest- either keep the rig cool or enjoy the "antifreeze" :-?

as in "my name is Joe"? :D

but you'd need long cables (or straws- depending on priorities). :D

I'm half-finished building one of these fine boards into my home cinema cabinet. It a sweet little motherboard range and I'd thoroughly recommend anyone to take a look at them!

Mind sharing some pics with us after your project is completed?

Mounted the motherboard into the cabinet, against the side panel. Cut out and fitted the custom features bracket for the rear of the motherboard, so that all the motherboard sockets are accessible from the rear (outside) of the cabinet. Fitted the LEDs and power/reset switches.

It runs... but I have to fit the optical and hard drive, cut out and fit the USB/Firewire bracket near the LEDs on the front of the cabinet, make the FIR circuitboard and fit the IR transceiver, try and find a good PCI capture card for PVR functionality and maybe get a DVD writer. And a bigger/quieter hard drive. And get a "passive" transformer PSU (not the unsightly standard ATX PSU I'm using now).
So I'm possibly 20% done now heh!

I've seen computers with built in coffee makers...

Those Mini-itx computers are pretty cool. I like the gascan and the lego ones the most.

About storing a computer in the Fridge, that would not be good unless you had good ventilation. Condensation would probably be a problem....[/quote]
