An excellent Video Card Cooler can be found at 1CoolPC. It simply mounts on to an expansion slot and blows air onto your video card and any other cards you may have in your computer.

Prices vary by the fan size. Check them out here:

This sounds like a great idea and I am thinking of getting the 92mm one for my secondary computer.

Because it is part of my series of articles on cooling a computer. This is just a little add-on though.

UPDATE:

I purchased the 1-92 Card Cooler and did not fit my case. I then immediatly returned it and I was told I would recieve a credit on my credit card. I have so far not recieved a credit. I am not to happy with this company. It has been about 2 weeks now.

If we use cooling device on video card , will it decrease the performance ?

Cooling will not effect performance if you are running the card within spec temperatures.

Running the card either above or below appropriate temperatures (ex: below freezing(or the dew point) or above ~60C) can effect hinder performance.

The reason to add cooling would be 1) increase life time of the product or 2) keep the product within appropriate operating temperatures.
