Iraqi 'Most-Wanted' Deck of Playing Cards

I got two packs of those. With shipping it was $18.85. They are the exact same cards as what the real soldiers in Iraq are given. Pretty neat.

Have you gotten them yet? What are they like? I ask as CNN ran an article today online about all the people downloading the PDF from the Defense Department website, making decks, and selling them as legit... (sounds fishy, as the Kuwaiti Embassy has nothing to do with the cards..)

http://money.cnn.com/2003/04/14/pf/savi ... /index.htm

(hey, you can't make them yourself for the price you got them, just an interesting article, as I'd love to find a deck or two myself)

Haven't gotten them yet (just ordered last night.) I think these will be real since this site has a pretty good reputation.

I couldn't resist, might get them in a month when no one cares :) It does state that these are from the original supplier on the finest card stock so sounds legit. Price has gone down too.
The article said they were square cornered, hand cut, printed on thick normal paper stock, and printed by someone in the defense type area, so these aren't the origianals I spose but they'll still be cool.

It was just on KARE 11 News (local news channel) that the company (greatusaflags) ordered half a million more decks from the company for this weekend. They also added that they are indeed made by the same company that makes the cards for the US Embassy in Kuwait.

I haven't even gotten a e-mail confirmation from them yet, and I haven't been able to track the order becuase my HD got a worm or something and blew all my cookies.
Did you get a confirmation right away? I spose I could call them and make sure my order really is there and being shipped.
They must have made better cards for the Embassy then the quickies they stamped out for the troops so they are telling the truth I spose.

Well I got a reply from them that my e-mail wasn't entered in the system properly so they and I couldn't track or check on it. They said it's fixed now and they should be here in 5 to 7 working days.

My 4 showed up today, they are pretty nice but obviously not the hand cut quickies. I was starting to get worried they were going to not show, pretty backlogged and UPS is SLOW I guess.
