I am so happy to be home. after a long day of teaching people how to upload pictures.

Man what a waste of my time but hey they paid me the same hourly wage as if they were to have me setup a Large Network :)

What do you folks do when you get home

I check my email and relax as I read CDRLabs and listen to new music :)

The first things I usually like to do when I get home are to power up my computers, check my e-mail, and visit CDRLabs. :D

I work 12 hour shifts.

I usually get home about 7:45pm/or 7:45am.

I like to play with my 2 year old, then eat supper. Then get the 2 year old off to bed/out of bed (if he's not up ).

Have a chat with the Wife. Turn the computer on by about 9:30pm/8:30am and read my e-mail & play a little Day-of-Defeat.

Then its off to bed.

I'm fortunate to be able to read the forums @ work.

I thought a few months back you said your employer was changing its policy and prohibiting Internet use while at work. Did they relent?

No. I just violate the policy OPENLY. Even in front of my superiors.

There's a few benefits to be one of the only computer literate people in the office. I've saved their ass' in the crunch more than once.

They give me a little freedom, as long as I don't get too wild with the surfing. I've even taken to wearing some outrageous Hawaiian shirts to work on night shift (never on day shift).

Well, it is nice you have earned the respect to be allowed to behave like an adult and regulate yourself accordingly. Too bad your employer doesn't afford that same consideration to all the employees and/or the other employess don't behave appropriately to deserve the same consideration.

As soon as I walk in the door, I'm fortunate and blessed to have a 1 year old little girl charging at me with an awesome hug...the highlight of my day. She and I usually play for a bit. I MAY catch up on some e-mail in between somewhere...more often than not, I just hang out with my wife and watch a movie.
