Hi, I need help translating some words from portuguese to english. (and I cant afford to get a professional human translator)
Freetranslation.com doesnt recognise them, I think that they were spelled wrong or something some special characters were left out.
" nao " --is this "no"?
eu tambem nao estou conseguindo fazer a traducao no site que vc me indicou! (freetranslation sees this as: I tambem nao is obtaining do to traducao in the site that vc indicated me!
''...entendendo porque eu ja dei esse...''

I noticed that some members here were from brazil or portugal.

Yes, some of those words are missing accents and some of it is shorthand. For example:

Também = also
Não = No
Já = Already
Vc = Você = You

The first part seems as though the person you were talking to could not translate whatever you said to them on the site you gave them, freetranslation.com, I'm assuming?

The second part, "entendendo porque eu ja dei esse," just means "understanding because I already gave this." It's out of context for me, but perhaps you know what the context us about.

Have you tried Google Language Tools?

You could also try AltaVista's translator Bable Fish.

Why would he use those when he has me? :) Furthermore, those translators do not know shorthand, nor do they recognize slang words.

I agree, thanks for the help, http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/, freetranslation.com and the google language tools are all the same, but it is easier to insert special characters such as accents on freetranslation.com (My little review) TheWizard is even better :)

www.yourdictionary.com has a different database than Babelfish/Freetranslation/Google; therefore if you are looking for a particular word and it doesn't appear in the Babelfish/Freetranslation/Google database then try Yourdictionary...or just ask me. :)
