I have a pair of polk audio floor speakers (2 Ft tall), and a pair of KLH 8" Bookshelf speakers hooked up to an old home theater amp (Kenwood) with 3.5 mm to RCA stereo adapter. (Soon to upgrade to a now defunct, soon functional 5.1 reciever) I also have a few multimedia sets: a small 2.1 logitech, and a small 2.1 Altec lansing. and a small 2.0 altec lansing
Pioneers: Hand-me-down home theater speakers, (no cost to me :) )
KLH: $20 bestbuy special
Kenwood Reciever: Hand-me-down (no cost to me :) )
3.5 MM to RCA cable: $6.50 (yeah yeah, i payed twice as much as i should have)
3.5 MM to RCA cable: came with free portable DVD player from compusa (for when I get a better reciever that supports surround sound)
Altec lansing 2.1: $20 original speaker sets.
Altec Lansing 2.0: free with complimentary sound card (not hooked to computer)
Logitech 2.1: Free from staples after $40 MIR

My puter is hooked up to my Sony RXD3 mini-stereo system. If I had to hook my computer up to speakers, I'd prefer some honkin' Cerwin Vegas.

Altec Lansing (ACS 340, I think) 2.1 speakers on my main computer; other cheap speakers (without subwoofers) on my two old desktops.

For one PC, I have JBL Platinum series speakers (came with the monitor).

For the other PC, I use my home stereo system speakers.

I have 4 computers, but the 4.1's are on my main one.

I suppose I could hook up 2 separate speaker systems to mine b/c my soundcard has various outputs. GameTheatre XP.

Microsoft DSS 80 USB. Using it in analogue mode with my Soundblaster card.

It's one of the nicer speaker 3 piece sets out there (has a wooden subwoofer). Try as I might, I can't get them to distort at all.

Yeah, they're old. I bought them in 1998 or early 1999.
