Superbowl Commercials

The Superbowl is almost half over and there have been a number of good commercials. What's your favorite so far?

My favorite so far was probably the AOL commercial with the guys from Orange County Choppers.

Chevy also had some good commercials. The SSR one was pretty funny where the kids had the soap in their mouths from saying "Holy sh*t" after seeing the SSR's top go down. I also liked the Chevy Aveo commercial. This one wasn't funny or anything. I was just surprised that they used an Ice Cube track for the music.

I liked the AOL ones, too. :D

However, I thought this year had the least good commercials of any other year that I remember. :(

No Thank You to FORD.

Gotta go Italian when you have $150K to spend.

LOL BuddhaTB. If given $150k to spend on a car, I'd buy a Ferrari too. I don't think that's enough for a Lambo. ;)

You'd still have a lot of money left in that case!

You like the NSX that much huh? Interesting

...then throw on candy lime paint, a set of 24kt plated 13" Mclean 144 spoke rims, some hydraulics and a crushed velvet interior. Paints a pretty picture.

But yeah, I'm not a huge Ford fan, but love that Ford GT and the old GT 500.

Uh huh, where's that baby seat gonna go?

Honestly if I had $150k, I'd spend a few grand or so down in Southern California renting every exotic Ferrari model, Viper, and the NSX (if possible) for a few days, just so I can see what each car feels like.

And then I'd save the rest of the cash towards my baby's college fund.

Aye, that one got a chuckle out of me too. I must say, none of the commercials made my roll on the floor laughing, but the Chevy one with the soap in the kids' mouths made me chuckle. On a different note, the Pepsi commercials were not that cool at all. I think Pepsi was reaching.

Hmmm. Good point about the baby seat, UALOneKPlus. But then again, wife doesn't like fast cars. Daughter like the speed, but her idea of speed is under speed limit, so she's good with being the co-pilot (although I never speed with her in the car).

I've driven a street NSX, supercharged NSX, Viper, Testarossa and a 360 Modena. To me, the 360 Modena was absolutely obnoxious (in a good way). I'd like to drive a 575 GTC, F40, F50 and ultimately, a 355 F1.

I'd definitely like to get an NSX...an Alex Zanardi if available. If I had the money to burn, the 355 F1.

Wow F1. Lucky guy to have driven all of those.

I've never really driven an exotic. The closest would have to be a BWM 325i manual ;)

Yeah. I've been very fortunate. My good friend of mine has an awesome business that's booming. He also like a lot of toys. He's seen me on the track, and we've done some track time together, so he trusts me with his "babies". :D

Beemers are pretty cool too! I always wanted to try what used to be an 850csi. A patient of mine has a SLK32 AMG. She offered me the keys for the hell of it, which I thought was cool. I passed today...maybe later. Sweet looking ride.
