I don't think it's Avant Browser related.

I was unable to see Pranav's avatar as well, using IE 6.0.

I went directly to the avatar link in the browser, and now can see his avatar again.

It could be a Microsoft server link setting or something that prevents another webpage from linking to it randomly. Imagestation had the same problem with some photos as well.

Wow!I didnt knew that you can prevent a .gif from displaying it directly in a browser.By the way did anyone had this problem before this?I should report this problem to MS.

Ah, that's why Avant is blocking it; it's set to block anything with the word "banner" in its path.

Yeah! Let's all gang up on 'em! :)

Now why didn't I think of using Firebirds ad-blocker on his avatar...

Maybe I should just hack into his account and change it to something Linux related

Oh yeah...I'm back! :)

a Penguin with $ signs in his eyes, brandishing a blood-dripping knife and wearing a "let's slaughter Bill Gates" T-shirt.

Why do you hate them?

While I don't hate Microsoft software (although I do frequently find myself cursing it when two Microsoft apps won't get on together ) I must admit to having a certain dislike of M$ as a company. I know it's just business, but they are a bit of an evil global megacorp and their treatment of competitors in the past has at times left a sour taste in the mouth.

Hmmmmm..................

I guess what we have here is a new defintion of "evil." To the best of my recollection, they haven't done anything different than any other corporation has at one time or another been accused. That makes them all "evil", and if they are all "evil", then usage of the adjective "evil" loses any distinction as all corporations are "evil." To wit, the adjective "evil" is meaningless when applied to corporations.

Yeah, that's right, all big corporations are evil. You should know I'm a loony leftie anarchist type, so I would say that ;) Capitalist scumbags, lol.

I know it's a weak argument. I just don't like Billy Gates with his silly voice and all his $$$, jammy so-and-so

Actually, it's the cult of M$ that I dislike more than the company itself. "Oh the innovative Microsoft, they made the Internet, they invented BASIC blah blah". That's not Microsoft's fault, it's the silly fools (who generally know nothing about computers) who come out with this tripe and bollocks.
