I've got a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII w/JBL Premium sound, thats what im swapping out with this:

1. Deck - Kenwood Excelon KDC-X979

Great picture of the deck - http://www.crutchfield.com/S-6M3alOIyhq ... morephotos

Here is where I bought it from - http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio ... ctID=13652

2. Four - Pioneer TS-A6990S (6x9, 5-way, 400Watt max)

Here is where i bought those from - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3077600845

3. Four - INFINITY Reference 5000cs Components - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3076083776

thats it for now, adding subs and amps later

getting it installed at either Best Buy or SoundTrack or Circuit City or Sunshine Audio

who do you think has the best installation? with best buy i can have them do it for practically free and use monster cable on everything (perks of friends working there)

Get it installed at a real audio shop. Don't take it to the hack jobs at Best Buy or Circuit City.

i guess i don't appreiciate high end car radios. You are going have a very loud system. i hope you don't go deaf :)

nice purchases hoxlund. I compete in db drags occasionally(havent since summer). I picked up a pair of the Resonant Engineering 15's just a few weeks ago.2400 watts a piece baby :D I have 5 Kicker compVr 12's in my caddy right now powered by an earthquake d2 amp. If you like Kicker subs I can cut you a pretty good deal for box and subs. I bought them in November.

hey Ian, where would you get yours installed, i was thinking SoundTrack or some place? How about a place that only deals in car stereos? like Sunshine Audio, or who else?
