One Year Later

So I felt like ranting, and telling people that most likely don't really care or just have a lot of time to read random stuff like this. Or Prehaps you'll surprise me...

Jennifer & I have know known each other for a year, on the 15th. Meeting over the phone via a friend who got her number the night before at a church dance. Come the 20th of this month (feb) we will have been dating each other for the past year. For this anniversery of dating/knowing each other for a year I am taking Jennifer back to Disneyland. Feb 23rd & 24th Two days (possibly 3) We will be in Southern California, enjoying the rain...( http://www.weather.com/weather/local/US ... earch_city ) ?

We will be staying at the Double Tree in our own seperate rooms.
http://www.doubletree.com/en/dt/hotels/ ... cn=SNACCDT
Also 2 day hopper passes have been bought. A Normal 2 day hopper pass cost $98 a ticket. I was able to buy on ebay 2 for $110 w/ $15 shipping
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1
The two hotel rooms cost $108 after taxes

so for about $250 we have a hotel, disneyland and gas to pay for the trip down there.

We are both very excited to be able to do this. I think I got a great deal. Does anyone agree or disagree.

Sounds like a deal to me. After a year of treating her like a frigging queen, she outta be ready to settle down and commit. If not....

BuddhaTB,

Let's make the deal better yet. You take them out for dinner Tues or Wed night.

If they stay till Sat., I'll take them to the LA Computer Fair at the Orange Count Fairgrounds.

They're both LDS. I'm sure Monte would drink a beer before sharing a bed before marriage.

Then let's take dodecahedron's comment further. Why not at least share a room, it's been a year...As you can tell, I don't get this LDS stuff, but I think sharing a room after a year is called for at least once...

well, Jonathan.
have a good time in DisneyLand. it sure is a great place to have a good time!

i have very fond memories of DisneyWorld - was there with the wife during our Honeymoon! we had such a great time there, like 2 kids.
my favorite was Splash Mountain. did it twice with the wife, then once more alone.

too bad the next time we'll be there will be with our kids (read: this won't happen for quite some time) and we'll have to be the adults.

enjoy! :D

Am I missing something here, Monte? What happened to Jennifer?

Slim
Who realizes that in most circumstances it is none of our business, but OTH, Monte, with his unusual frankness, has aroused my curiosity.

Jennifer is still around but we are pretty much on a very unstable ground. I am sad to say, but i think it is over between her and i. I am taking Jennifer on a hot air balloon ride on the 19th, and I think that may also be the last day I will see her, unless something improves drasticly.

In reality, it's been over for along time. If after 3 months of courtship, she is not 100%, absolutely certain, it is not right.

I thought the exact same thing, but decided discretion was the better part of valor in this case and didn't post anything. But now that you have broached the subject...
