I was reading up on some of the stuff at Wonder Festival Winter 2004 (big toy show) and came across these pictures:

I love some of the guys comments:

A lone otaku, armed with a million dollar camera, devotes his time and money to taking pics of naked pree-teens in model form. he will then go home, make and paint the same model, develope his photos and wonder why he is STILL sexually frustrated. then he will prpbably go and kidnap the real thing from a local Elementary school. No lie. I read the Japanese newspapers everyday.

Now that has just taken toy making to a whole new low.

Cabbage Patch Kids & Teletubbies held the honour.

And to think that in Japan, the XXX movies must have either digitized effects to cover faces or they wear a mask.

Ummm, not that I've ever actually seen a XXX movie from Japan. :oops:

I thoguht it was a serious toy discussion at 1st. Yikes!
Not the kind of thing I wanted on my screen in a crowd of 20 women on a night shift.

Yes. The benefit of a government job.

Most of them are 21-35 yrs old too.

It's just a different culture. To me, it does not look so unusual. There are similar people in South Korea as well. Whether they have sex partners or not does not matter that much here. That remark is plain inappropriate. South Koreans usually do not really understand how can a man kiss another man's wife on the cheek either. In many cases, even shaking hands is not regarded warmly.

Those dolls are very expensive by South Korean standard but some guys still buy them from Japan.
