Indeed they are tards for not realizing alternate IRC ports; although let's be realistic, if Charter blocked all popular IRC ports (let's say 6660-6670 and 7000) then I bet they would have half their customers complaining. Having 6667 disabled is just a minor inconvenience. Truth be told, more people should get used to using a port other than 6667 for IRC. Since it is the default IRC port, a lot of newbie users connect with that port, thus others on that port can experience lag, most considerably on large networks. Don't get hosed, use an alternate port.
