celebrated Ostara sabbat a few weeks ago in March(I am pagan). Had to goto Easter with the parents and have a nice long argument over religions

if you can't enjoy the religious aspects of the holiday, at least you can enjoy the chocolate :D

...unless you're lactose intolerant... :o

Easter...What a BS holiday.

At least something like MLK day celebrates someone/thing that was REAL.

Hmm....MLK believed that celebrating Easter was celebrating something that was real. Seeing as he was the Rev. MLK and all.

Something to ponder there. :)

Burning,

You aren't being very clear. Are you saying Jesus is B.S. or Easter is B.S.. Both are arguable, but no one can refute it unless you are clear.

But I love it when atheists get on deists about believing that a deity does exist when atheism is just a leap of faith in the opposite direction that the deity does not exist. They tend to forget that absence of proof is not proof of absence.

"As bad as"?

I don't understand you. You have the free will to believe what you will. So do I. Why does this make a holiday based on my beliefs (which you have the choice to agree or disagree with) "bad"?

JamieW, I agree with your sentiments. When it all comes down to it, it is about faith.
