Huh? I thought you were working for your mom, getting paid mad cash for shipping stuff via UPS.

Why you need 1K? Gonna buy that gold plated Plextor I told you about?

As I said above, I can only get there when school's often, which isn't much.

Also, maybe you might want to read better, eh? I want to get a nice new PowerBook G4 with the money

wicked1,

No I'm not interested in becoming a drug lord, thank you.

How old are you? I had a job when I was 15.

I used to deliver newspapers when I was too young to get a retail job. I don't know if you can still do that. Around here it seems that these days the paperboys are a dead breed, and now papers are delivered by 40 year old, grimy looking guys driving around in pickup trucks or vans throwing the papers out the window as they drive by at 30 mph. Needless to say, their aim isn't very good (unless they are deliberately aiming for plants, bushes and muddy puddles), and you don't get any personal service. They still have the nerve to ask for a Christmas tip (by mail) though. Fat chance!

Anyway, it is something you might want to look into, although you will have to wake up really early in the morning and it isn't easy money.

Buy and resell shoes.

It helps support my addiction and sometimes its very easy to make $50-100 on a single pair. You just have to know the shoe game. Can't knock the hustle either.

Check this out. I bought a pair of "Kill Bill" Onitsuka Tiger shoes for $69.99 in size 11 back in Oct/Nov '03. Last week, there was an auction for the same exact shoe and size, guess how much it went for? $$$
If I ever need some quick cash, I'm cashing them in.

Another situation, I buy two pairs of Jordans for retail at $135 each. Before I get them, I already found a buyer. I end up selling both pairs for $480 shipped to Australia via EMS. Shipping only cost me $60, so I made a good profit from that deal.

The shoe game is bigger than you ever imagined it to be. As long as something has hype, you can always make money from it.

Like Ian said, don't be buying a CrApple.

Yup. I do the same thing, but with toys. The Japanese will buy anything that's exclusive to the US and they don't seem to care how much they have to pay to get it.

I'd like to buy & resell them. Perhaps I could buy & resell optical media? As hoxlund asked, where do I get them for that price so that I can resell them.

KG is my favorite player ever since MJ retired.

Timberwolves are my team and I'm probably the #1 T-Wolves fan in LA. I was born and raised here, but I hate the current Lakers with a passion. That's why I cheer for the Clippers. The only Lakers I like are the "Showtime" Lakers with Magic and company.

The T-Wolves are good, but there is still a lot more than can be improved. The only team playing better than us right now is the Spurs. They just steam-rolled over the Grizzlies and are riding a 15-game winning streak. My Wolves barely beat the Nuggets last game, so we are not playing our best yet. Once the big 3 get going and the bench becomes productive, we can beat any team in this league for the title.

Watch out Sacramento QUEENS, the Wolves are coming to hunt you down with a vengence.

There's no money in reselling optical media... trust me! Especially Ritek!!!!

Besides, you need a registered business to buy from any manufacturer... well, unless you have an in in the company.

Buy 3 PX712SA drives, sell them on EBay as "Owned by AviationWiZ! The ORIGINAL Plextor Fanatic" special editions, and watch the mucho dinero roll in. I'm pretty sure there are a large number of Plextor fans out there, who look up to you as their leader.

The key to re-selling, and it's no secret: buy low, sell high. Just like stocks. Sell anything you can buy for a low price and sell for a high price.
