For those who care, it looks like the creator has made some slight changes to the game, 1st try and I hit 2698. There look to be some changes as to the placement of some of the snakes, among other things. There are snakes near the trees now that help get you past the trees. I know I have wasted many shots trying to get past some of those damn trees.
For those of you who don't care, you can just ignore this post.

New high 2899!
I got 1141 on the first of the five shots.
The 2nd shot actually landed me back at under 1100, because he hit the tree or elephant and went backwards, but still somehow managed to get 2899 total.

Man, I'm lucky if I can hit 2200 points....
Still, it's a lot easier to plan your shots in this then in other ones I find... it's a lot like pool in some ways too

Slight planning and a few lucky shots/breaks, and the difference in the score can be dramatic.
It is a lot more fun now than when there were all those extra obstacles.
