Tired of sky high gas prices? Head to Venezuela.

The wording "Sky high" in the subject of this thread is relative to historical prices in the US, since many Europeans pay a herck of a lot more than we do.

However, I was shocked to read that in Venezuela a gallon costs only 14 CENTS!
No other country even comes close!

I'm not surprised at all. Venezuela is a major, major member of OPEC (the largest in the Western Hemisphere)...and would be more so if there weren't major problems going on there in the past two years greatly reduced production for a time.

I suspect that the cost of flying to Venezuela would nullify the savings in gas prices for quite a few years. I also doubt they have the same per capita income we enjoy here in the USA....so it's all relative.

actually, i'm surprised an American would notice something trifling as that. :lol:
