The past two weeks were really hard- up to my ears in work and no time for the forum or to play (much) with my new toy- the SOHW-1213S. Anyway, my wife and I are both overdue for a vacation and will spend the next 2 weeks hiking in South Tyrol. Offline . Maybe there'll be a new firmware for the drive when I get back.

It's great to see cfitz back and I'm looking forward to news from dodecahedron as well.

I wish all forum dwellers a good summer. There's more to life than optical drives! (at least a little bit...)

Thanks for the kind wishes. We had a great holiday and the weather here is super right now (summer finally arrived) , so optical drives will have to take (a bit of) a back seat to cooling options (beer garden rather than fan ) to keep my processing unit (brain, not CPU) in good shape.

3 weeks offline is enough, though, so I'll try to look in here regularly. It's a great site!!
