Anyone else see this movie this weekend? It's one of those movies you'll either really like or really hate. I liked it but my wife didn't. I don't think she likes the retro style they used. The robots and planes were pretty slick IMO.

Was planning to see it, but a buddy wasn't feeling well and backed out last-minute like. I can't wait. I love the genre a la Crimson Skies, combat aircraft have always been a hobby of mine, and the cast looks really good. I'll plan on catching it this week some time.

Saw 'Sky Captain' with my girl and it definately had that throwback charm.
Left some loose ends unexplained, but not enough to ruin the movie.
Weird thing though, in the early parts of the movie all of the machines had that nostalgia look but towards the end several looked like they could be in 'modern' movies.
Take your girl and for the love story.
BTW, somebody needs to start a thread on the unbelievable hotness that is Angelina Jolie!

Yeah, even with an eye patch, Angelina is a hottie.
