Right now we're thinking of naming him Ryan... but I'm open to suggestions. JamieW keeps telling me we should name him Thulsa Doom.

LOL, Thulsa Doom sounds a heck of a lot better than bigmonkey.. I hope you understand if I don't make any recommendations.

I've told him countless times already that Jamie is a fine name. However, he also knows that no matter what he names the kid, it is always going to be lil' Thulsa to me. I also know that he wants to name the boy George.

Welcome to the parent club Ian.

It's actually a good club to be in. They're a lot of fun the older they get.

So, are you going to build your little one a computer in a few years ?

I built one for my 3 year old and he loves it.

It's loaded with lots of Dora The Explorer, Winnie The Pooh & Disney software.

Looks like it's a good thing you you've got some more help these days, because you're going to be BUSY when your baby's born

Congrats Ian! :D

Welcome to the Parent Club. As far as a name, Maximus, definitely a strong name.

Maybe you should consider starting ParentLabs.com and we could all share the speed of absorption of diapers and etc.

Once again, congratulations!

Congrats, Ian!

Here's wishing you a pleasant fatherhood, and that your son's baby poop doesn't smell too bad.

Can't smell any worse than the cats' or the dog's.. or can it?

Heheheh. I've got a dog with an ass problem. I've changed diapers on 4 nephews, three nieces, two cousins, and a friend of the family's child. If you think it can't smell worse than that, you are going to learn new definitions of pain and suffering.

Knowing our cat, no. We switched his diet to control his gas, which was the equivalent of dropping a daisy-cutter inside the house; at least that's cut it back to the level of a small-area guided munition. His crap is still the equivalent of a bunker buster, though. Eeeyaaaghhh....
