I feel stupid but relieved

I got around to hooking up my 2nd PC, now that the renovations
on my house are done.

I was looking everywhere for the AC adapter for my Visiontek 'Xtasy Everything' TV tuner module.

I finally realized after over an hour of going through boxes and closets, that it did NOT need or have one!!!
I was checking the connections again and saw that there was only a line out jack that looked like it fit an AC adapter.
I could have sworn it had one.

Oh well, at least it works now.

That's pretty funny VEFF.

What I hate is when I take my computer apart for whatever reason and forget which AC adapter goes with which part. I especially don't want to plug the wrong one into the wrong device. So I started writing on the wall wart what it goes to. This has saved me many times. I simply use a sharpie or equivalent.

:)

I have resorted to labelling my cables (PC and AV (Audio/Video gear); it saved me a lot of time, and reduced uncertainty, when I moved and had to hook up a whole bunch of cables, especially for my home theater setup...
