I'm more suprised by the fact that a grandmother was letting her grandsons play GTA. Only in the hood..

Ugh, off topic, but I was at a Target a few weeks ago and this 4 year old (or younger) girl was begging her mom for "gwand teft otto"... they finally found GTA:SA (once the clerk even understood what she was saying) and the girl was just thrilled to death.

I almost said something to the mom, who was obviously clueless, but figured it was a lost cause (and I'd be the eeeeeeevil man at Target telling her how to raise her kids.)

I think I would have looked at the game andsaid to her mom "Yeah, that game is SO COOL! The hookers are even more realistic than the last version! Man, I'm jealous."

I think that would've done it just fine. That, or something about how fun it was to beat up gangstas with baseball bats.

Parents need to take more responsibility; this mother obviously wasn't watching out too much, even if she didn't know it was a violent game.

My ex gf and I were always annoyed when we saw parents dressed up warmly and had their kids walking nearby wearing too little.
The other thing is people letting very young kids play outside unsupervised, where cars could hit one, even if it is, for example, in an enclosed condo parking lot.

Yes, it always bothers my wife when we go see R rated movies and there are little kids there. Get a damn baby sitter people!
