Dude that's a nice ring BUT you really need to stick your little fella in her before you put something like that on her finger.

I disagree. That sort of thing is far from needed before marriage.

In Monte's case, he needs a commitment first.

Nice ring. =D> Hopefully she'll say yes!

When I asked my wife to marry me she said:

"Ask me when you're serious."

How romantic.

Obviously we did get married since I referred to her as "my wife" but now when she asks me to take out the trash I respond, "Ask me when you're serious."

Roger that,

definitely can't show that to my wife - she may want another one.

About the other recommendation: It may be fine for some; however, LDS folks do buy new cars without taking them for a test ride.

 good luck though. seriously. I asked my wife to marry me as we were getting ready to be busted for dealing dope. We both thought we were going to jail for a very long time. Neither of us went at all. :) Went to the nearest pawn shop and bought her the ring she picked from the case which cost me $44 and then drove down to the courthouse and were officially married by the clerk. Hows that for romantic.

A little of topic, but I just noticed (I don't pay too much attention to these things) I just noticed that JamieW is a Midget Tosser. That's hilarous!!

:D :D :D

JamieW has an obsession with the vertically challenged. For awhile there, he was seeing midgets everywhere.

I saw an asian midget on saturday shopping for legos. Kind of confusing expecting the short thing to be a kid but it turns out to be a midget.

What kind of Legos? Star Wars? Maybe it was an Ugnaught?

Jamie,

I saw that guy, too. He wasn't a midget; he was a dwarf.

And I salute you for that realization, Rex. Takes a mature man to say it. And btw, statistically speaking, people who have sex prior to marriage are less likely to get married than those who abstain (the odds are even lower for people who live together before marriage).

I'd also be interested to see what the divorce rates are for those groups you just described. Just because you're more likely to get married, it doesn't naturally follow that you're also more likely to stay together.

my thoughts exactly
what's more, there's a correlation between 'statistically' not having sex before marriage etc. and beloging to certaing religious 'groups' shall we say which influences the 'probability' of getting married, getting divorced etc.

That's right, dode.
LDS folks get divorced far less frequently than others.
