i have my eyes on this baby:

paired with this cooler:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835118125

cooler's website:

as far as the video card goes, stock cooling sees an overclocking range past gtx gpu/memory factory speeds

but if there are any people out there with a better feedback on cards on the market right now... please speak up

I have a Geforce 7800GT too (SLI maybe later, need $$$). The thing KICKS ASS! On stock cooler (got a eVGA 7800GT), I get 500mhz/1.18ghz. With that bitch of a cooler, you'll probably go a lot higher. Nice choice (and nice looking piece of hardware... black/green is one of my favorite combos) :)

my cousin bought a evga, this exact model:

he says he got a gtx core, and because of it, unlocked the extra 4 pipelines and shaders

what about you? any experience with your evga?

You can't unlock 7800GTs. Their extra pipelines have been laser cut, no chance of re-enabling them.
