JLU and Teen Titans Cancelled?

It looks like two of the best shows on Cartoon Network are coming to an end:

It's too bad. Now all they have left is that pseudo-anime crap that seems to be marketed to 5 year olds with ADD.

We already have a network like that. It's called "G4". ;)

Don't think we need another.

All I really want is some network to bring back "Star Blazers"...and of course, the original Transformers, and G.I. Joe. Is that too much to ask?

Yeah, all the need is a channel with Transformers, GI Joe, Thundercats, He-man.. Heck, anything from the 80's. You know all us 20-30 somethings would watch it.

Eh, I stopped caring after the masterful Batman Beyond was canceled (with the exception of that one JLU ep where they show the real ending to Beyond).

@LoneWolf: Am I the only one who likes X-Play?

X-Play? Maybe I missed that one. The only X-Play I know of is drag-n-drop software for the iPod, manufactured by a third party developer. My memory fails me on this one (note: never had cable growing up, if it was there, I probably missed it).

You did make me realize I missed listing "The New Adventures of Batman", one of the last awesome cartoons on network television before WB created their own channel and took it away. If you mean the X-Men cartoon that was on Saturday mornings, by the time it was out, I think I had a paying job that I had to be to when it was on.

Wouldn't mind Animaniacs coming back though either, and maybe Tiny Toons. Pre-WB network WB was good stuff.

Other cartoons I remember watching when younger (and am secure enough to admit): Dungeons & Dragons, Gummi Bears, Thunder Cats

I kinda like XPlay. I think lately (what few shows I catch, I used to see the Saturday morning/afternoon episodes sometimes but they moved them and I don't stumble across the show much) they've gone downhill, trying to add plot/stories/stupid humour to a review show. I think the basic format is pretty good, though.

G4 REALLY has gone downhill. When they were TechTV I would flip over a few times a day and sometimes catch some pretty good shows. Now I rarely even check it out...

I've been watching The Batman on Saturday mornings. It's a good show but they seem to play the same episodes over and over. Makes me think its going to get the axe too.

It is back.. in the form of that horrid show Loonatics Unleashed.

Weren't Looney Tunes good enough as they were? I guess not.

I used to watch X-Play a lot but they're so far behind on game reviews its not worth my time. It's not as bad as when they used to have those two guys sit and review games that came out lasts year. At least I can drool over Morgan. =P~ =P~ =P~

Eww, "The Batman" was a horrendus idea. Nowhere NEAR the tallent of the early 90's BAS (Batman Animated Series) through Batman Beyond. Maybe its just the animation that gets me (looks horrible to me) and the fact that "The Batman" has like zero to do with the original comics...

@Lonewolf: As you probably figured out by now, X-Play is a videogame review show (probably the only decent one on TV). While they can sometimes be a little late with a review (I wouldn't replace my videogame mags and internet reviews for them), they are entertaining enough to actually warrent G4 staying on the air for me.

About X-Men: I've always been a marvel fan and I LOVED the early 90's Xmen cartoon on fox (the movies are alright...). The shitty Xmen Evolution I could do without though. LAME!
