US says it has right to kidnap British citizens

If a US agent ever tried to kidnap me, rob me of my rights as a British citizen, then I think I might exercise my rights under American law and shoot the bastard!!
The US has no damned right to come to another sovereign state and assume legal rights over its citizens. To claim that US law means squat in another country is arrogance of the highest order.
