I'm not sure how many of you are into LEGO. My kids are big into it and they've sort of sucked me back in. One of the few sets I've bought for myself is this one:

Yes, its the DeLorean from Back to the Future. It was one of the fan made sets submitted to CUUSOO (http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/96). It went up on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQC ... g=c0cba-20) the other day and it looks like its already sold out.

The set was waiting for me when I got home from my trip yesterday. I'll post some pictures when I'm done building it. :D

Okay, this set is awesome. Instruction manual doubles as a small a book with details on the movies and actors. Minifigures are great representations of Doc and Marty too.

I can't believe that LEGO made a spelling mistake on the flux capacitor. Duh..

For its size, the car is very complicated. The wheels flip down for hover/flight mode and there are extra pieces to build the Mr. Fusion and the crappy DeLorean from the third movie. Needless to say, I won't be building that one.

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.
