Airline question...

Hey guys...
I just got back from vacation. My rountrip was done on Northwest. I'm NEVER doing that again. They crew acted like someone pee'd in their cornflakes, and the seats were uncomfortable as hell. The biggest pisser was the fact that the crew was rude and seemingly miserable. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for other airlines?

One things for sure...If it's going to be a long flight, my butt is going first class. Anyone here fly first class? What's the big difference of first class aside from roomier seats and 2-ply toilet paper?

Northwest is pretty bad. My family and I went rode on Northwest once and never again will we fly with them. I agree that their flight attendants aren't the best and their planes always seem to be delayed from what I've heard. If your flying around the west coast, I would recommend Southwest. Sure they might not serve too many refreshments and stuff, but their fares are cheap and you'll be satisfied with their service. And if anyone is ever flying to China or Hong Kong, always fly on Cathay Pacific as they are the very best.

I've heard many good things about Jet Blue and wonder how are they? Has anyone tried Jet Blue yet?

Awwwmaaaaaaaan, BuddhaTB...you would NOT believe! Hahahaha! One of the most difficult flight attandants was amazing. She knocked my good with the stupic drink cart twice, and made like it was MY fault. I was passed out in my aisle seat, but leaning on my wife on the inside. Granted, I'm not the smallest guy out there...she had to get a friggin' running start or something in order to hit me.

NEVER AGAIN! Northwest is horrible!

Not that I'm going to China or Hong Kong anytime soon, but how much is airfare to there from SoCal, anyways? How long of a flight?

The flight to Hong Kong is 15 hours to and 13 hours back. I'm sure the flight time to China is about the same, maybe a bit longer depending on what city you land at. My dad went to Hong Kong back in October and his round trip fair was about $800 for economy class. The economy class fares vary between $650 to $1,000+ depending on what time of year you take your trip. Prices are usually highest around Chinese New Year and Christmas. The business and first classes are a bit more, so I'm guessing an avg price of $1,000 for a round trip fare. But Cathay Pacific has some of the best service around and their flights are mostly non-stop too.

Holy Smack! That's not so bad for airfare. My wifes and my fare to Hawaii was about $600 a piece. Not too bad, I suppose. Still, I need to go first class from now on. I was miserable trying to get comfy in the seat.
