Porsche Carrera GT and the Acura TSX get my stamp of approve. Too bad very few of us, if any will ever get out hands onto the Porsche Carrera GT.

For the kind of money the TSX costs, I would take a V6 Accord.

The TSX gets a only 200HP...and just a tad little bit more than the Accord, for the same amount of money (around 26k).

They're both imports after all.

But for the market the TSX is going after, Sports sedan, I would seriously consider the Mazda Mazda6 (only thing I hate is the new naming scheme adopted by Mazda, expect the Mazda3 and Mazda9 in the near future). For much less you have a more powerful car, minus some luxuries.

I personally like the Euro Accord sedan better than the Accord we get here now. But your right, too bad they didn't bring the more powerful US spec V6 into the TSX. Does the TSX come with a 5 or 6 speed transmission as an option? However, the Accord coupe is a whole other story, it looks very good.

CAR magazine has given their opinion...they'd take the Mazda6. They said the Acura TSX's claim to fame is a great interior, but like VW, driving and handling were not as good as they could be. CAR said Mazda6 showed the world that Japan can do a great "Euro" car.

As for the TSX options...

6-speed manual
or
5-speed Sequential SportShift automatic

PS, Mugen Bodykit

I'm loving that Mugen body kit. The rear end with the dual exhaust looks awesome. The only thing I'm not feeling is that drag spoiler on the back and those ugly rims.

Unfortunately that's Mugen style of Rims...

That's why I would take the LM-GT4's anyday over any Mugen Rims.

the Black Limited:
Image yum yum

and the rest of the LMs:

Mugen has had some better rims like the ones below.

Those Nismo LM series of rims do look good. I bet they're pretty lightweight as well.

4.3KG. for the Nismos.

Had forgotten about those Cool Mugens...really nice..I think they're the ones on the Integra (DC4 and DC5) Type-R.

How the heck am I supposed to fit comfortably in the Nissan Almera? The roof is practically flat! I need some room for my head! I'm 6'1"!

It is bigger than it seems in pictures, think of it aa a little bigger than the Focus, as big, if not a little bigger, than the Toyota Matrix.

So being tall shoukld not be a concern

Believe me, it's not a concern anyway because I have no intention of buying a Nissan Almera. :P

bto, thanks for the pics. No new pics of Japanese concepts?
That Corvette is plain yuck!

I'm loving the Lambo Gallardo. V-10 in it I think.
But my heart will always be with Ferrari.

But my heart will always be with Ferrari.

Funny, in those "super exotics" mine is with Porsche. :D

As for other japanese concepts, well I did leave out the following one, due to its ugliness and for not being original. Withouh further delay, here it is:

Subaru B11S Concept:

That is one ugly subie!
I think Subaru was trying to copy the front end of the Bugatti cars.

Prosche is a good one. I think the GT2 and Carrera GT are the super exotics of Porsche. All the other Porsche cars are obtainable to some degree. But I've seen way too many Turbo's around the streets of LA and Orange County that I feel they aren't as exotic as other "super exotics".
Love the big red Brembo's on the Turbo though. :D

Think "Alfa Romeo."

What I'm really waiting for is Tokyo. Can't wait to see if the GT-R will indeed have two version, and how it will look. :(

When's the Tokyo one?
One of these days I need to visit the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Auto salon is held every january.

And Auto Show is held in october. But the relevant one is every other year...the fill in is for commercial vehicles, as the one held just last year...which is why the relevant one is this year. GT-R goodness....and hopefully next NSX (2nd favorite to GT-R) and next Supra (don't really have an opinion) will be introduced.

The GTO would have been great if they had a better design it looks too much like other cars. The old ones look better than the future one. I like Volvos. my family has 3. each with over 100K miles on them. one has over 200K. Again, some of the new volvos look too much like other cars.
