Have any of you guys been involved in LAN parties in the past or plan to host one in the future? If you have LAN stories to share, please tell. :D

Back in highschool and first year of college, me and my friends used to meet up at someone's house and play counterstrike for endless hours. When I moved into the college dorms, I swear it was one big LAN party. I could always hear people playing games when I was going to and from class. I also remember how the dorm buildings would group up to play against other dorm buildings in CS tournaments. After freshman year, my friends and I moved on ot Diablo 2 for awhile. Then last summer, we were all into Warcraft 3. And finally, I've started back up Warcraft 3 after a few months of lay-off, due to being selected as a WC3 Expansion beta tester.

How many people can play on Halo at once over LAN/net? Pretty fun game though.

We had probably about 30 at massinlanity most of the time the first one is smaller than expected. we were expecting over 40, had room for over 100. It was still a blast though and we plan on doing it again in June. We pretty much played counterstrike and Unreal Tournament/Unreal Tournament 2003, A little bit of Battlefield 1942 was played. We smashed two macintosh Classic style computers. See pictures here.
