I have a total of 2 DVDs, LoTR and Gladiator. When I put LoTR in it plays great.
When I put Gladiator in, I get these errors:
PowerDVD wrote:Error Code: F4D4136
TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly.
This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled.

Media Player wrote:A problem occurred with analog copyright protection
Error ID = 0xC00D1167, Remedy ID = 0x00000000

When I try WinDVD I can hear the movie fine, but I can't see anything. Plus when I turn on Hardware Acceleration the movie won't play at all.

DVD drive is Region 1
Both DVDs are Region 1

Any ideas?

Thanks.
H

I wonder if it has something to do with Macrovision... Can you disable the TV-Out Feature of your Video Card?

How would I go about doing that? I checked uner Display Properties-> Advanced-> GeForce 2 tab.
couldn't find anything.

I have a GF2 MX400, it has a TV out on the back of the card (S-Video i think), but I've never seen anything talking about it in the programs.

Thanks.

Ok, I just bought the Famly Guy seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, and it's giving me the same error. Anyone know anything I can try? 'cause I wanna watch Family Guy...

Still can't find the TV Out thing.
