Ok, one day my CDROM drives were working, then the next they arnt.

They show up in BIOS/CMOS thing. Tried re-installing drivers... no luck there.

I dont really wanna have to unplug the IDE cables and then plug back in, this will be my last resort if I dont get any other suggestions.

one drive is a DVD-ROM and the other is a PLEXTOR CD Burner.

They dont work! ahhhhh! computers are useless without CDROM Drives!! :x (atleast for me..)

Thanks for reading and or responding...

Welcome to CDRLabs! :D

If the drives still show up in the BIOS, you won't need to unplug the IDE cables.

A few more details about your system would be useful in diagnosing this problem, though. For example, it would help us to know what operating system you're using, what positions your drives are on (i.e. Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, Secondary Slave), and if you changed anything (software or hardware) about the computer shortly before the drives stopped working.

Fixed

Yeah, they didnt work cause theres a bug or something when you install/uninstall Easy CD Creator 5 with XP...

Got it fixed though, had to delete some stuff out of the registry.

Thanks anyway!
