DVD Ripping Problems!

Hello everyone.
I am currently experiencing problems with ripping DVD's and if you could help me, I would be very grateful.
Here's the situation: I pop my Spiderman Disk 1 DVD into my dvd rom.
It reads it fine and I can open it in PowerDvd to watch it.
I open DVD Shrink and I click back-up and do a full rip. I then rip the DVD onto my harddrive.
When I try to open the files from my harddrive using DVD Shrink, I get a region error.
I fix it using Ifoe edit and I open it again. It loads to the menu.
I click scene selection and I select a screen. The DVD restarts from the beginning.
I try to play a different scence, same result. When I try to just play the DVD, it still restarts itself!
What is going on? Am I doing something wrong??? Please help!

What region error are you getting in DVD Shrink?

Does it look like this?

If so, just hit OK when it is on Region 1, or change the region selected to whatever region the DVD is.

Wow, fast responses!
Sorry, my bad. I meant when I open it with WinDVD, it doesn't open. I then try opening it with PowerDVD, and it keeps resetting

I'm not sure how to open a DVD from the HDD in Win DVD. When you try opening it in Power DVD, you are going to the source button and hitting "Open DVD from Hard Drive" or whatever that option is, right? Then you just select the folder from there.

Can you post a picture of the error you are getting when you try opening the before IFO Edited DVD in Power DVD? If you don't have a place to put it, you can email it to me here: aviationwizard@msn.com

You open up a rip't movie from the HD by right clicking on the windvd screen when it's open and choose"playlist".From there,an explorer window should appear and you just find the flick you rip't and add all the rip't files to the window and hit "open".
That's it.
