Are you tossing your VCD's now that you've got DVD's?

I haven't any VCD, but curious if anyone is tossing their VCD's since DVD's are now the better medium.

I still remember when my buddy bought a Laser Disc. That investment has gone down the toilet, it seems.

Hmm, no. CD's are going to be around for a while. Just wait until people start using iPod's to store videos that can plug into their TV. Then you'll see a shift from DVD's to video iPod's, much like you see a shift from portable CD players to iPod's. :)

I'm converting some old VCD's to DVD because the CD's I used were crap, eventually I will convert them all because I can put 3-4 VCD's on one DVD and make chapter points.

Never used 'em. Don't have a DVD player that can play 'em. I either a) use the PC's TV-out for DivX/MPG's, or burn a DVD.
