I have seen people having DVD ripped movies on their hard disks in AVI format of only 800,900 MB sizes.
Can someone help me please, how can I do it? or how can I convert to MPEG format?
And also, how long it will take to convert a 2 hour movie?
Please someone help.

Conversion time depends on how fast your CPU is.

Use winavi video converter 6.3, its the fastest software, it will take around 50 minutes for a 2 hour long video, other software takes too long time.
