Editing a MPEG2 captured with TV card

I'm just now getting my feet wet with regards to creating/burning DVDs from captured TV movies (using a Hauppauge PVR350 card).
I've tried using the NanoEdit software that comes with the card to do the editing (to remove commercials, etc.) but the software, to me, isn't that intuitive. Is there another software package that does the job with less confusion? I have a 4.xx gig MPEG2 file that needs to be trimmed down to no commercials so I can burn it to DVD. Thanks.

Thanks again for the help. I spent the last three weeks packing to move to a different house and haven't had the chance to download ULead's product. Last night, I tried (again) to use the NanoEdit program that came with my Hauppauge PVR250 card. It worked to remove the commercials but I ended up with a 2gig+ MPG2 file. Nero doesn't want to burn it to a DVD. What do I need to do now? Thanks.

To be DVD compliant the MPEG files must be in file format(.IFO,.BUP,.VOB) and the .VOB's must be 1GB.
I've never used NanoEdit but it sounds like it only edits MPEG files not author them,when you use Nero(DVD-Video) it checks for compliant files(IFO,BUP,VOB).
