Hi guys I was at future shop (canada) yesterday and bought a Pinnacle Studio 9 USB package for $100.00 ( a savings of $200).

My intent is to convert 3 hour football game tapes on VHS to DVD. Has anyone used this product? From what I can tell the software that comes with it seems quite good.....but I have not used it and was hoping for some feedback?

Yes, I've used it. It's OK.

Good thing it uses USB 2.0 and not 1.1. If it did use 1.1, you would experience some major lag when recording the videos to your PC. Personally, I still prefer a good old PCI capture card or even Firewire. Both have plenty of bandwidth to keep up with video capturing.

Well, for the price aristottle paid, it's not a bad deal at all. I'm assuming he paid 100 CAD.
