did anyone here able to make CDRWIN work with Sony DRU-500a?

i get writing problem and it won't proceed burning with my current setup.

CDRWin is obsolete nowadays and does not support most (if not all) of the recent drives. Same happens to me with Pioneer DVDR-106D. I would suggest you use burnatonce instead, it has the same functionality like CDRWin, is free and, in fact, way better.
