Here's my problem. Want to use gigarec feature of my Plex Premium but I get screwed up cd-r values when I scan my ty cd's through plextools. I talked to plextor support and they said the following:

Plextor isn't likely to make any changes to PlexTools because of problems programs like CloneCD and Alcohol120% have, as those kinds of programs often install various 'patches' to get around copy protection issues, and that can cause problems with other 'legitmate' programs.

It's long been known on the newsgroups that you are best to install only ONE set of CDRW software or you may run into compatibility problems. PlexTools Pro is tested with the Easy CD Creator software we provide, but we don't test with other programs.

It's recommended that you install only the Plextor provided software if you are running into compatibility problems with software that Plextor does not provide or support.


Is there ANY software out there I can use which will allow me to mount images and also use gigarec?

Currently I've tried alcohol120% and Daemon tools but same problem, and Nero Image Drive only works on ISO's not BIN files.

well, this is (partly at least) bullshit.
PlexTools was originally (and maybe still is) written by Plextor Europe, and they've always given Nero with their drives not Easy CD Creator. it's the Plextor US that bundles Easy CD Creator.
