Quality comparison of DVD backup software

Hi, Just staretd backing up my DVD collection and have used both DVD X Copy Platinum and (based on reviews here) DVD Shrink. To me, both programs seem to make copies with equal quality but I was wondering if there is a difference among all the available software.

If I wanted to make a full backup of a DVD (no re-authoring), is there one software title that creates a better quality backup? (assuming software that focuses on speed over quality...I'd rather not wait 6 hours for a copy to be made!)

I've read many reviews here and on other sites but I haven't found this type of comparison. If there is a thread I missed, I apologize in advance for asking the same question.

Thanks!

I answered my own question by playing around a bit with DVD Shrink. Although I made a few poor quality DVD's in the process, I learned that DVD Shrink makes great copies if you select the "perfrom deep analysis" option under the quality tab before encoding and then selecting one of the image enhancements (i use the sharpness default) as well.

The entire process takes about 3 and a half hours (compared to about 50 minutes) but the quality is far better than the standard copies I made with DVD X Copy. I guess I just need a faster PC.
