I gave up on CD Maker Deluxe after I bought my Sony DRU-500A and had to use Nero(YUK!) for burning DVD's.But I found a drive support update today on the NTI site and all is well.Don't get me wrong Nero is great for CD's but it makes expensive DVD coasters.
Now if NTI would update the GUI I would toss Nero in the trash.
Here's another suggestion to NTI Support:show the release date of Cdrw32.dbd so we know when to update.

I agree : NTI is the best of the market at the moment ... & NTI is an industry standart IMO & it is very very reliable, nearly flawless software package for general burning purpose.. I'm very pleased with it.... :D

I've been using NTI 5.x for a long time.
For data and audio, it has been rock-solid and never created a coaster.
But, IMHO, version 6.x is too big for my taste and looks like a "skinned" version of the early v5.x.
Since I don't own a DVD-r drive, I can still stick which version 5.x.

To burn non-ISO images, I commonly use CDRWin, CloneCD or an old version of Alcohol(I had problems using the later version).
NTI CD Maker looks funny or even weak to people acostumed to other burning proggies, but its burning engine is considered by many one of the best on the market.
