HANNOVER, Germany, March 12, 2003 – To help PC users protect operating systems, applications and files from viruses and hardware/software disasters, NewTech Infosystems, Inc. (NTI) introduced an enhanced version of NTI DriveBackup! this week at CeBIT, Hall 20; Booth C11. Using DriveBackup!’s advanced wizard interface and data compression capabilities, users can easily store up to 1GB of vital data on a single CD or up to 9.4GB on a single DVD disc. The software enables media spanning for multi-CD or DVD backup/recovery of the system’s complete hard drive.

NTI DriveBackup!’s easy-to-use wizard takes a complete snapshot of designated partitions of the hard drive and backs the information up to a write-once or rewritable CD, DVD or other storage media. By creating a complete image of the data stored on the hard drive, partial or complete recovery is a one-step process. For complete volume recovery, the bootable emergency recovery disc automatically restores the system. For partial or file recovery, the user simply selects the target partition, initiates the recovery process and DriveBackup! does the rest.
