Yep, the GGW-H10N has just started to ship and LG is already working on a new one. Let's hope that the GGW-H20N is priced less than the GGW-H10N. I don't know many people that can afford $1200.

Hitachi LG Data Storage, Inc. (Hitachi LG) has exhibited "GGW-H20N" prototype optical disc drive for desktop PCs that supports both Blu-ray Disc (BD) and HD DVD at its booth as a reference presentation at "COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2007" being held in Taipei, Taiwan.

"We have already started sample shipments and plan volume production and shipments for the second half of 2007," a booth attendant said.

Engadget's Chinese website has some more info. It's a bit odd that they have the BD-R/RE burning capabilities blocked off.

Especially odd since it still claims to have 50GB double layer recording :P

The second picture is of the GGC-H20N, ie a combo drive with no support for BD writing. Someone obviously messed up and printed the specs of the GGW-H20N on the sign so they had to hide the support for BD writing but forgot about the 50GB double layer recording
