Plextor has officially unveiled its new 6x Blu-ray Combo drives. As I reported a couple of weeks ago, the PX-B310SA and PX-B310U are based on the Lite-On DH-6E2S (iHES106). The drives read single layer Blu-ray discs at 6x and are capable of 16x DVD±R, 8x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds. They also support Plextor's new PlexUTILITIES software as well as its PlexERASE and PlexREAD technologies.
