Just purchased one from Newegg...delivered today 3/4. Overall burn quality of DVD+R and DVD-R, thus far is terrific. Mind you I have only used Verbatim Hub Printable of each kind...but buned at 16.3X max and burn quality ranges from 95-98% with Nero Discspeed 5. Only disappointing thing about the drive. LG claims BD-ROM read speed of 10X and BD-ROM DL read speed of 8X. Much like the older 8X predecessor...this drive reads commercial movie BD-ROM DL at a max 4.88x. Not sure why LG claims more when it is not. However, with that said...the drive feels well built. Solld and a bit on the heavy side. Was very surprised when UPS handed me such a heavy box. I purchased the OEM version and it came with USB cable, Manual and Cyberlink software....very impressed. If not for the rip lock on the BD read speeds...this drive is almost perfect for it's features. Very nice indeed.

Is that the OEM version of the CH10LS20 or something? I got the CH10LS20 a month or so ago... So far so good, but I don't burn many discs these days... I did scan one, it looked great... what I would have expected from LG Renesas based drives. It's probably a slow ripper... again, would not be surprised from this.

No, its just LG selling a bunch of different drives with similar names.

To my knowledge, the CH10LS20 and the UH10LS20 are the same exact drive. For some reason, LG lists the CH10 as a retail, over the counter disc drive and the UH10 is listed under their "Commercial" listing. No one has yet to find any differences in the drives. Both have ONE year warranties...and the firmwares are the same, just named differently. Your guess is as good as anyone else. All in all...write quality on this drive is very very nice. I also have a Pioneer BDR-205 and they both have great output.
