LG WH10LS30 or BH10LS30...whats the difference?

It seems these 2 drives have the same specs so whats the difference between them?

If its like the BH08LS20 and WH08LS20, they're the same drive with different names.

It looks like LG has a couple of new drives BH12LS30 and BH12LS35. There doesn't seem to be any difference between these

How do they differ from the xH10LS30 series?

They write to BD media at 12x.

I don't really care about BD write at this stage, as that's not the way I store the majority of my content anyway.
Next yr some time when prices are rock bottom I'll sell my combo & go for a full-blown CD/DVD/BD reader/writer.
The BD writing aspect still won't get used much though I suspect...

I can't seem to find anywhere to buy the BH12LS30 and BH12LS35 drives online. I was ready to buy one of the 10x drives until I saw that they now have the 12x. I just can't find anywhere to buy one from. It looks like they aren't available in the US yet.

Just buy the 10x, not a huge difference,
Next yr some time they'll prolly hit a 16x limit & will be even cheaper.
So you can sell your 10x and upgrade! :)
