recently purchased the above burner for my computer
hooked it up and tried to update the latest firmware
said target not found
on checking the properties tag find the previous installed lg model listed as well as the above
what can I do to install the machine properly in the computer and get full use
tried to burn a bdr 50 and it failed!
a £4 disc down the pan already
using windows 7
help!

Make sure that you're using the firmware for the 207dbk and not one of the other variations of the 207.

Can you tell us a bit more about your system and the failure? What software were you using to burn the disc?
