VideoHelp.com says the Office Depot 4x DVD+R is Ritek R02. This post on afterdawn (thanks google) says the Office Depot DVD-R discs are RITEKG04.

Seeing as how we're on the topic does anyone know who makes Staples DVD+R? Their price isn't too bad but I didn't want to buy any until I knew who made them.

Are you saying that Office Depot & Staples are one and the same, or that Staples uses the same OEM for the DVD's?

You sure about that?

RAMINGHAM, MASS. AND DELRAY BEACH, FLA. -- After a nine-year lawsuit, Office Depot and Staples have reached an agreement over what they will call their stores located in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The litigation began in 1993 when Staples, which operates its stores in Ontario under the name Business Depot, objected to Office Depot's use of the Office Depot name. As a result, Office Depot's stores have operated under the name Office Place in Ontario, while it's stores throughout the rest of Canada are called Office Depot. Staples' Canadian stores in the English speaking provinces operated under the Staples Business Depot name. As a result of the settlement, in June of 2002, Office Depot will be permitted to use its name on the exterior of stores.

I'm pretty sure in the States that Staples and Office Depot are not the same thing, they are competitors.
