Ok I'm sorry if I offended anyone by asking which dvd rw to get, but I would really like to get some opinions on dvd rw from Pioneer DVR-108 and BenQ DW1620. All I need are bitsetting, dual layer and dual compatibility (+/-) :D

edit: Which one would burn better quality DVDs :) ?

You are not offending anyone. It's just that you don't seem to listen to people. You are once again repeating same question. If you've read reviews and/or previews you should know what they are capable of. If you have any specific questions, it maybe better off asking the manufacturers themselves as they should know better.

Agent_J,
I've been reading your question on several forums and I would recommend the BenQ because you can set booktype(bitsetting).

BTW..please do not post this question again because Ian will lock it.

If you need bitsetting then you want the Benq drive. Pioneer is not capable of changing bitsetting for single layer discs. It will automatically change the bitsetting for dual layer discs though.

The Benq should be a great +R burner, but who knows about the -R support.

Pioneer's past drives have been known for great -R burning.

So, it's up to you. I havne't seen hardly any reviews of the two, so I don't know which one burns better. I have to go by past history.

if bitsetting is what you need then benq is for you.
